The Collection System Department at ReWa ensures the operation and maintenance of approximately 300 miles of sewer trunk lines, ranging from 6” to 96” in diameter, 7,000 manholes, and 63 pump stations. This department is also responsible for maintaining grounds at all facilities and easements, and the cleaning and television inspection of ReWa’s lines. The Collections Department cleans and televises the system on a 10-year rotating program and mows and chemically treats the system’s easements on an annual basis. This department inventories and maps ReWa’s lines, and conducts various point repairs through an in-house repair team.
