My name is Freshwater Freddie and I am the mascot for the Renewable Water Resources (ReWa). You may remember ReWa used to be called Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority. We are located in Greenville County in South Carolina. ReWa provides wastewater treatment services to over 400,000 customers in Greenville County and parts of Anderson, Spartanburg, Pickens, and Laurens Counties, in a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally sound manner.
My job as mascot is to help ReWa with its Public Education program, informing its customers, and others throughout the community, about wastewater treatment, and how they can help protect our environment and our most precious natural resource…water!
