The Pretreatment Department monitors non-domestic users while promoting and recognizing compliance and pollution prevention by industries in the area. The department manages Hauled Waste and Grease Control Programs for controlling Transporter and FSEs activities. Additionally, the department’s Recognition Program promotes compliance and pollution prevention and also participates in an agency-coordinated effort to establish strong, community-wide public relations.
