WASTEWATER TREATMENT CHARGES

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) faces the daily challenge of providing an efficient wastewater treatment system for a growing community, while at the same time meeting stricter environmental regulations.

BASE FEE
This fee recovers the cost of servicing 116,000 customer accounts and maintaining 350 miles of trunk line. This fee applies to both residential and commercial accounts.

VOLUME CHARGES
The charge covers the cost of operations and maintenance, required capital replacements and improvements, and debt service.

* Applies to both residential and commercial accounts.   ** Charge per 1,000 gallons of metered water. *** Commercial customers receive a 5% reduction in volume charges since they generally use the same amount of water throughout the year.
